I have just completed my latest Wall Mural.  This was a challenge of a different sort !  It took me a few days longer than usual due to Weather : 99 degrees on day 1, torrential down pour on day 2 cutting me short, Days 3 when I attempted to finish Hurricane Isaac decided to arrive early.  So finally on my 4th attempt I got it finished.  I promised Sue a surprise that I will add in when I next visit since it was getting late.  I finally told her what it would be... couldn't resist.... There will be an eagle flying to his/her nest with a fish in the top left where you see an opening in the trees.  You see she has a beautiful spot on the river and has an eagle's nest in her neighbors yard and I have been taking photos of her eagles while painting.

WOW!  What a great time was had at the workshops in Albion.  It was great fun visiting with family and friends and getting to paint with everyone.  Some of you had painted before and some of you this was your first experience and wow you could not tell !  Great paintings are hanging on many walls already !  Here are a few pictures that were taken but unfortunately I forgot to get pictures of the barn paintings and the river scene ! They were really fabulous too !

I will be back in August and the list is already filling up for some of the paintings ! How exciting is that !  I will post those pictures shortly for everyone.....

WBPP !!

I have been accepted as a Wilson Bickford Painting Partner.  Wow!  Such a great opportunity for me to share with all of you the wonderful paintings of Wilson aka Willie Bickford.  Diane Foreman and I went to Landgrove Vt last year and had the opportunity to meet and paint with Willie in that wonderful Inn setting.  While Willie is preparing his WBTT - Wilson Bickford Trained Teachers program - he has in the interim started the WBPP.  I will be offering classes starting in June with some of his paintings; check back soon to view the class schedule.

To check out his website, go to www.wilsonbickford.com  If you see a painting you would like to do, reach out to me and I will add it to the schedule.

S.E. Regional Team was a huge Success

A great time was had at our Florida Luau......  Mom went with me and attended her first painting conference - she did fantastic painting and I would not have made it through the weekend without all of her help. I was especially excited to find out that my winter landscape painting received 3rd place in the non-living category. Here are the paintings we did and a shot of mom working hard doing her first palette knife painting.  The class that I had the honor of teaching was a small one, but everyone did a great job.  Harold finally got to do his hummingbird and everyone learned how to do dew drops.

Start planning ahead for TEAM 2013 we are looking at the 2nd weekend in April.
